Blender has done another Dear Superstar piece where Wayne answers questions that fans and readers have sent it. It's a very interesting piece and as usual, Wayne makes some interesting comments. Check out a small excerpt below and then the link to the full piece.

Excluding yourself, who’s in your Top 5 list of all-time greatest MCs?
Slingbangj, Montreal

In no particular order: Biggie, Pac, Jay-Z, Scarface and Cee-Lo Green. Actually, no, make it Bun B instead of 2Pac. I can’t front: I was never into Pac. I always listen to Bun, though. That man taught me how to rap.

They also reveal the new release "includes new recordings of two songs he'd started working on for the Maverick album." Does this mean they are just remixes of songs already on Sounds Like This, or 2 new ones? I will try to find out.

Anyway, check out the article, and mark your calender for Tuesday when Sounds Like This comes out again.

Job Search Tips and what to do when no one is calling!!!Part 2
Going down that Roller Coaster Ride o

Job Search Tips and what to do when no one is calling!!!Part 2

Going down that Roller Coaster Ride of Emotions.

One of the worst issues we all have to deal with is our emotions when we are unemployed. Our emotions tend to be on a roller coaster ride. You may have been happy at first, maybe you were in a dead end job or you were just tired of it (bored). Then you realize wow, I need to find another job and fast. Or maybe you decided to take the summer off and enjoy the nice weather.

Either way you need to deal with the emotions you are feeling and get back to a level of self confidence, self assurance or you will find yourself depressed and unhappy.

This is why I highly recommend you make a schedule for your self and stick to it as much as possible. Also keeping in mind the schedule should include your job search, some form of exercise for stress relief (walking, running, dancing or working out) and personal time to do the things you never had time to get around to. But you need to stay focused, so I suggest you put on the radio or your head phones and MP3 and sit down at the computer everyday.

Be sure to keep the music low enough so you can hear the phone when it rings, when there is a recruiter on the other end. Also if you are playing the radio turn it off or down when you answer the phone. Be sure to sound up beat and Thank them for calling even if the position they are calling about is not for you, you never know when they might actually have something that might match your skills sometime in the future.

Network, Network and Network some more, and with everyone including the recruiters, HR representatives, on line at the supermarket, and on Linkedin etc.

Talking about Linkedin, check out all of your connections, and your connections, connections because there maybe someone there who can offer you a position or who may know of someone who is hiring. Linkedin gives you the choice of contacting them yourself or asking for an introduction to that person through your connection. This could be another effective tool to finding a new position. I have used this a few times as of yet I haven't been successful but I haven't given up.

Making your schedule should be part of your schedule, if you have a PDA you can do this through your desktop and then sync to your PDA this way you always have an updated schedule. I usually only schedule Monday- Friday accept when I have something personal I want to remember then I add this too. But I do update my task list with all of my tasks including my personal goals for the week and try to integrate them at the end of my day still allowing my 4-6 hours of time to do research , job search etc. I also try to schedule in time to update the blog. If you don't have a PDA then you can use Outlook which ever version you have or Google Calendar which I mentioned is free. This will assist you in staying focused, at the beginning of each day you should take anywhere from 15-30 minutes to update your schedule and add your tasks, completing yesterdays, I also suggest you set the alarms so it will help you stay on task.

Deal with the fact that you are currently between positions. Deal with your current emotions, allow yourself to be angry, upset, happy and then move on. Get focused, stay on task and you will find that new position, it just may take some time.

As I mentioned yesterday it takes about 40 resumes to generate a call, you have to understand for every position out there, employers are getting on average 100 resumes.

So this is why I have stressed your resume in my blog. You need to find a way to get there attention with out gimmicks. So sit down and review what you have done for the last few employers:

Did you help save them money?

If so how much?

Did create new processes that saved time and money?

If so quantify it , give it some numbers and add this to your major accomplishments.

These should be at the beginning of your resume under your summary, before your job history and additional skills.

Do you have a list of all your skills?

Soft and Hard? example Premier Customer Service, Excellent Time Management, Systems, hardware, soft ware etc. I have separated mine so that it keeps it separate in their minds as well.

By adding these to your resume, your resume may get more attention and may get you that call.

I believe I have covered the emotional roller coaster ride, by staying focused it will assist you in finding that new position and will assist in keeping the worst of your emotions under control.

Well thats it for now, I am still actively looking. I received a call today from a recruiter who is interested in my resume, he has a position that he feels fits my skills. I spoke with him this morning, he sent me the job description and asked me to call him back after I had reviewed them. I did but he must have been busy, I am waiting for a call back from him. So again I realize he is working for the employer and it may or may not be a good fit. Only time will tell and if I get an interview I will let you know. Right now it is a little dry, waiting for some of the resumes I sent last week to bear fruit.

I also sent an email follow up to VP who interviewed me on position that is currently stalled. I let him know I was still interested in doing the second interview if they were able to get the position moving again. This is very important to let them know you would still be interested, just like the other fellow who dragged me all the way to the city after they had made the offer to someone else, you never know where your next lead may come from. So stay focused and don't let them get you down.

Have a nice day

Trish

Nino Bless' time is now. The Brooklyn MC has emerged from behind the scenes and is ready to take over. For over 6 years, Nino has been heavily involved in the Hip Hop scene. After years of ghostwriting for stars, Nino is ready to show listeners what he feels the game is lacking.

Consigned by the legend that is Kool G Rap and worked with artists like Crooked I, Immortal Technique, Joe Budden and Saigon, Nino talks exclusively with The Hip Hop Chronicle about his new album, his relationship with G Rap and his strained relationship with Immortal Technique.

Who is Nino Bless?

Tell us about yourselfI'm a throwback MC. I focus hard on all facets of lyricsm. Brooklyn's in my bones; born and raised. I'm just trying to bring some quality back into this music that I'm in love with.

How did you get the name Nino Bless?

My god Brother gave it to me. It was his name in the streets. He got caught in a little situation and so that he can live through my eyes I decided to go by his name. He follows my career step by step and he's proud of me. That's all I was trying to do.

Nino Bless - Third Degree ft Scram Jones, Crooked I & Saigon

What got you into Hip Hop?

I can't really pinpoint what exactly got me into it, but its always been around me. I grew up in the culture. I was Bboy-ing at five years of age. My brother was a DJ spinning Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, and Kool G Rap records when I was real young. Slick Rick was the first to really grab my attention, cause he was so clear and it was like he was personally telling me a story. I was captivated by that. I thought it was so dope. The fact that I can say so many things in the form of rhyming is appealing to me. All these aspects and more. Plus, its mad cool.

You have a new mixtape out called 'Untold Scriptures'. What can we expect from that project?

Expect album type effort! I treated this project like an album. Expect a lot of rhymes, a lot of word patterns, hard knocking beats; nothing sweet, clever lines and that gritty NYC sound in full effect. Expect some of the illest cats in the game spittin right now riding with me. Expect me to push it hard, cause I think it needs to be heard. Even if my music ain't your cup of tea and its too hard or too street or whatever, I have something for you. I'm conscious in a sense, I give a lot of social commentary and I touch on some issues that aren't on most dudes radar right now. Expect quality cause I didn't half ass this project.

Nino Bless - Da Livest

How did you hook up and colloborate with artists like Styles P, Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden, Saigon and Crooked I?

Just grinding and basically making sure my spit game was up to par. Most of the cats I've worked with from Budden to G Rap to Crooked I all respect my spit game. When I called Budden he bigged me up crazy for my "Four In The Clip" verse when he heard the final product. G Rap thinks I'm up there lyrically with anybody with the exception of himself of course {laughs}. Crooked got respect for my spit game too. He told me him and his brother are mad analytical and are tough critics, but when they heard me they respected my work. He actually just asked me to be on his new mixtape he's doing so I gotta give him something; we going in again and knocking another one out... him and I. Basically I know the misconception that's out there how all rappers are extra cocky and all think they are the best. Maybe so, but we all respect other cats with talent. I'd work with anybody on any level if I had a lot of respect for their spit game as well. So my level of talent has gotten me places. I don't mean to boast, but I'm fortunate I've come across the some real dudes in this game.

A legend in the game, Kool G Rap said your a 'lyrical giant' and has given you his co-sign, what does that mean and what kind of relationship do you have with G Rap?

That's like if Dr. J walked up to you on the court and said "son you got one of the best games on the court I've seen." I mean there's a few Jordan's running around like Jay Z etc. Lets face it though, there's no Jordan without Dr J. Doc showed him how to do it with the flare. There's no Jay Z without G Rap. Jay just bigged him up again on a new Rick Ross record. He stays showing respect and the reason goes without saying. That means the world to me and more. I'm humbled and I feel blessed. G Rap is still killing it these days now he's a nut man. That dude won't stop. He just did a joint spittin in Pig Latin (man who does that?). G Rap is one of the fathers of this shit who layed down his foot prints for cats like me. I'm just following the steps he's layed down.

You co-founded Foul Play with Immortal Technique, how long have you known each other and what's your relationship?

Tech and I have known each other for a long time. I'd like to think we're real close friends. Right now he's doing his own thing and I'm doing mine, so we ain't been chopping it up lately. I'm running on two-hours sleep in three days, so I'm going to keep it real funky with you. To tell you the truth some dingy ass chick recently told him I said some shit about him, so right now I don't even know where we stand? I'm going to try and reach out to him later and let him know what it is cause I respect dude more than most of these flunky's running around. I been there for Tech in the past and he's been there for me. Hopefully our relationship ain't get tainted by no silly misunderstanding; but I'll let you know later. I'm making moves and so is he. We always talked about making our stamps in the game. He made his now its my turn. I would love for him to see me make it like he has.

You used to ghostwrite, how did you get involved with that, why not rap first?

I did rap first, but I had to create more outlets for myself. Ghostwriting opened so many doors for me and it still is right now. I met a lot of people through ghost writing and its helped me stay sharp with my shit. But I definitely always wanted to rap, but you know a lot of shit comes into play and that turned me off as well. Marketing, image, this and that. Man back in the days if you was hot you got on. Now there's too many different variables. So I was like "fuck this I don't care about the limelight, let me get my shit off like this." But dog that's like masturbation compared to real sex fam. It just ain't the same {laughs} The level of stimulation you just can't beat it when you doing the real thing. Sorry for the vague analogy, but dog that's just what it is. So once I thought it was the right time and I was ready I stepped up to the plate. So far its working for me.

What can we look forward from Nino Bless?

I got a strong team to back my music now, I've enlisted some folks to help me step up the promotion aspect a few notches. I think this year you can look for me to make a splash in the game. Drop a few mixtapes and possibly an album. If the album don't drop this year, look for it 100% by early next year. I'll be doing a few features on some projects as well. Look for me to do some video's soon as well. I'm not one of those cats that you hear and see a lot of them for three months and then they take a huge hiatus. That ain't me. I won't hit you with 100 songs this year but I'll give you quality and I'll stay in your face all year, believe that.

Make sure you go cop 'Untold Scriptures' this month. Guest features includes Crooked I, Joell Ortiz, Scram Jones, Joe Budden, Styles P, Saigon.

Hello again for the second time today cyber world. I was searching the web because it is the best time killer and I stumbled upon something that caught my eye. The video company RARE, who's hits for Xbox 360 include such games as Perfect Dark Zero and Viva Pinata, is creating a new installment to the Banjo-Kazooie series. This game will be an Xbox 360 exclusive and I for one can't wait until this game comes out. The official name of this game will be Banjo-Kazooie:Nuts and Bolts. I don't know how many of you people out there remember the Banjo-Kazooie game for Nintendo 64, but it gave me countless hours of entertainment. Watch the video below of an early interview with RARE on this anticipated game.

After a gap of twelve years since her award-winning debut novel The White Room, author Karen Maitland has returned with Company of Liars – an historical tale of secrecy, magic, and the terrible events of the Black Death. Calliope’s Sarah Fisher finds out how Karen got her start as a writer, what inspires her, and the lessons we can learn from Medieval England.

Along the way he teams up with a mysterious band of travellers, all with dark secrets of their own, including a magician, a couple on the run, and a sinister rune-reading young girl.

Camelot feeds on fear and superstition at religious shrines, selling fake relics and potions for protection against the plague.

“I wanted people to think that, OK, it’s the Middle Ages, but actually people haven’t changed that much,” says Maitland. “Now they’d probably be selling Calvin Klein fakes instead.”

When the story idea came to her, she saw a Black Death-shaped hole in the fiction market.

“When the plague has been done before, it’s been from the perspective of a town or village,” she explains. “Travellers had a much different experience than those in a village where people were secure in their homes.”

Indeed, the absence of home is a definite theme of the novel, as the travellers use a horse-drawn cart as their only steady means of shelter, stopping in caves and abandoned barns along the way. With a pregnant woman in the group, and a wanted man, the heavy rains and fear of disease make the journey difficult at best – an opposite experience to reading the book in the comfort of a home armchair!

“Finding home did become an important strand in the novel,” the author, now settled in the city of Lincoln, admits. “It probably stems from the fact that I’ve never really had a base, I’ve always moved throughout childhood and adulthood.”

Denied the chance for a decent education as a youngster due to undiagnosed dyslexia it was her great aunt’s love of historical storytelling that fuelled her love of the past: “That generation had a natural gift for storytelling.”

Like many people of her generation – Maitland is in her early 50s – she was left behind educationally because of the dyslexia, a condition which she now considers an advantage.

“Dyslexics view words in a different way from others; we have a natural bent towards language. Now I view it as a positive gift.” Laughing, she adds, “Though it was a positive pain as a child.”

Leaving school without any real qualifications, and running through a series of jobs, she ended up in Northern Ireland at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. There she discovered a scheme that gave an outlet for her creative energies: after working for the emergency services she was awarded a grant by the hospital to attend the University of Ulster where she was finally able to continue her education, studying human communication before going on to get her PhD in psycholinguistics.

She ended up in Nigeria and witnessed the country descend into a bloody civil war. What she experienced inspired her first novel The White Room, which was published in 1996 and short-listed for the Author Clubs Best First Novel award the following year.

“It was a futuristic thriller,” she says of her first stab at fiction writing, which confronts the topic of terrorism head on through the eyes of a young girl. “I wanted to explore what would happen if terrorism came to mainland England, which at the time it hadn’t. Sadly, a lot of what happened, which people said at the time couldn’t, has happened.”

What followed was a decade of struggling to find the time and resources to write a sophomore novel.

“I always wanted to write fiction, but with setting yourself up as a writer you have to take the work where people will actually pay you. I got loads of writing commissions [after The White Room] which all turned out to be creative non-fiction.”

Writing for the National Rural Touring Forum in 2002, inspiration for Company of Liars hit after spending three months travelling the country to promote rural arts.

“I travelled with them in an unheated van, in the middle of winter, for miles in the dark on country roads,” she recalls. “We’d arrive on the other end with promises of somewhere to eat then discover the pub chef had gone off to play darts that night! It made me think what it must be like to travel from village to village, never knowing what you’d find.”

Like any good author will do Maitland exhaustively researched her subject matter and a story so rich in historical detail required that extra effort, including travelling to the small villages and towns mentioned in the tale. She’s done her research well, filling the novel with a sense of place and time that is so important to the story, even to the most trivial of details. To research kites, which were as plenty in 1348 as pigeons are today, Maitland visited a kite colony in Wales to watch how they interacted – all for just one small paragraph in the novel.

“If you don’t get it right, then someone will tell you! There’s no substitute for actually being in a country chapel and listening to the sounds,” Maitland advises young writers. “As I started to write other things would come up, such as how the characters would dress, how their clothes would be buttoned or stitched.”

She made a conscious decision to modernise one aspect of Medieval England however – the language. Forced to read Chaucer in school, she describes it as like a foreign language, putting a barrier between author and reader, and chose to create authentic characters rather than authentic medieval language. She drew on every day interactions with people to create her heroes (and anti-heroes), and says any random encounter can provide inspiration.

“I was interviewing a chap in a cafe for a non fiction book I was writing,” she recounts. “The interview was going fine until I asked him about his boss. His fingers tightened around his coffee cup until they went white! It was just one line for a character, but it gave me a basis for a characteristic.”

Writing can even be used for some personal justice: “We’ve all met bullies, and one of the great things about writing is that people you’ve disliked in real life – you can give them a horrible, sticky end!” Which is something she’s certainly done in Company of Liars, offing characters in unexpected and sometimes brutal ways.

So what inspired this educationally unqualified dyslexic to turn to writing?

“We didn’t have a TV, so I loved going to bed,” she remembers. “I loved shutting the door and making up stories in the dark. Later in life I had a burning desire to write a story.”

As most writers find, getting her first novel published was a struggle, with the usual amount of rejections (“I can see why, because it was never going to be a commercial success.”). She managed to have The White Room published by a regional publisher, and winning the Author Clubs Best First Novel award in 1997 was a first for a regional publishers. After the long gap between novels, she realised she would need an agent to sell Company of Liars and managed to get a meeting with an agent at the Historical Writers Society. Maitland advises attending literary festivals and joining genre societies to make connections with agents and publishers.

“It’s getting harder and harder to send work in cold. But at the end of the day it actually comes down to sheer luck really – that the right manuscript lands on the right desk on the right day.”

Company of Liars is out now in the U.K., published by Michael Joseph Ltd, and will be released in the U.S.A. on September 30, 2008, by Delacorte Press.

Scenes in Taiwan

Today we speak with professional nomad, travel writer and Lonely Planet co-author Joshua Samuel Brown.

Q: How did you get into writing guidebooks for Lonely Planet? Have you always loved writing and traveling?

A: I'd been doing journalism and traveling since about 1998, with a fair bit of "travel journalism" thrown in along the way. In 2006 my first book - Vignettes of Taiwan - was published, and I sent a copy to Lonely Planet. They invited me to apply for an author's position, and shortly after I was working on my first LP title (Taiwan 7). Since then, I've done two more books for LP.

Q: What is your favourite location and/or trip and why?

Any trip in which I don't have to collect data for a guidebook or conduct interviews has been of late very dear to me. But I still do love Taiwan, if you're looking for me to plug someplace.

Q: For those who aren't familiar with your blog Snarky Tofu, can you tell us a bit about it?

A: I do a lot of stuff with Snarky Tofu. Sometimes I run short articles that I'm considering putting into whatever Lonely Planet guide I'm working on to see what readers think - readers of Snarky T and Taiwan 7 will see a few examples of this on both. Sometimes I run experimental essays that LP wouldn't even know what to do with, or run short stories I've written that really don't fit into any particular theme. Sometimes when I'm too lazy to write I post images. Sometimes I just use the blog to vent about how I'm losing my mind. This seems to be happening more and more these days as I slip further and further out of sanity.

Q: What are you favourite posts? I have to say I loved ‘My Parents Are Little People'.

A: I like that one too, and I'm actually going to reference it in another question. I find myself steering people to the posts that have both educational and entertainment value. Number-one visited post is "Me and the Ladyboys" - man, people just can't get enough of ladyboys....

Q: What advice can you give to people who want to write for Lonely Planet?

A: To have a clear picture of what the job entails. Much of what I do is gathering information... what time does this bowling alley open and how much are shoe-rentals, that sort of thing. The pace can be grueling, and the writing itself can sometimes be soul crushing ("Rooms are clean, tidy, and fairly spacious, and some have lovely views of the interior courtyard's bamboo garden."... fun, eh?). Basically, any potential writer should understand that there's definitely a lot of "job" involved in the job.

Q: Recently I read that Thomas Kohnstamm, one of Lonely Planet's guidebooks authors, confessed he had faked information. Apparently, he wrote the guidebook to Colombia from his home in San Francisco. How do you think Lonely Planet's reputation will be affected by this?

A: Hopefully by now you've sorted out fact from hype about the case - TK was commissioned only to do some front end material for the Colombia guide in question, not to do the on-the-ground research. So in this instance the "confession" was more media hype to pump up a bad-boy image which he might well deserve for other reasons. I found myself having a very ugly reaction to the case initially. Even wrote the man a fairly brutal letter & posted it on my blog, only to take it down later after I realized - through a bit of soul searching - that my reaction was based mostly on my own career doubts and dissatisfaction.

The post you mentioned earlier - "My Parents are Little People" - was written partially in response to the issue, to show people just how far some writers were willing to go to get a review. But actually I pull stunts like that all the time. Makes the day a bit more memorable.

As far as LP's reputation, It seems that the media buzz has died down, and that most people who care have gotten the real story, namely that TK had overstated his exploits (specifically the "writing-from-home" bit) to create a buzz. I think that most readers understand that LP writers spend plenty of time on the ground researching books, and that most writers take the commitment to providing unbiased reviews very seriously.
Q: Last... if you had all the money in the world to spend on traveling, where would you go?

A: My wife Laurie and I are planning to spend the next few years developing our organic farm on our land in rural Texas, growing fruits, legumes, vegetables, flowers and bamboo, as well as raising goats, ducks, and (if she lets me) ferrets. So if I were to get a sudden windfall, I'd probably just buy more stuff for the farm and save the traveling for later. Probably would buy a cool motorcycle and use it to explore the American west when I wasn't home farming.

Thanks for the interview Joshua and good luck with your Texas plans! And, I have to admit, you're not the only one who wants to explore the American west on a cool motorcycle.

Went for TECH's walk-in interview held in NUS. After all, they were looking for good honours; I wouldn't be even granted an interview if I applied through conventional means, so I thought I would crash this interview.

There were surprisingly quite a number of people. I mean, this is already like their 6th day. But oh well...

I went in for the Procurement Engineer post, took a (super taxing) logic test (took 1 hour) and then went for the interview. The whole thing lasted for 3 hours.

Anyways, this experience is like Chartered, quite easy and the interviewer was more interested in getting to know about me, unlike S*** who straight away asked me about my grades and told me she didn't want me cos of my grades.

But I dunno. Was it cos I did well for the logic test? Or was it cos they were really looking for more than grades? Or was it cos the interviewer was kind enough to give me a chance to enhance my interviewing experience?

Well, I focused a lot on me being a 'people person' and constantly on the lookout for chances to learn. lol It does sound cheesy now that I'm talking about it here.

I tried to tell myself that I should not put too much expectations (cos of their requirements) and to relax and enjoy the process, but he still told me I was too nervous initially.

End up, I got quite chatty. I rattled off without thinking much anyways. Managed to convey my philosophical reasonings, talked about my family. ya... We talked for almost an hour. I wonder if he really was considering me, since he bothered to talk to me for an hour. Perhaps he knew there was no one else after me or something.

Whatever!

Medan told me to think positively.

I saw on TV that negative thoughts will attract negative events and vice versa. I shall practice the same. hmmm... I will be a hot property lol

It’s one of the simplest things you can do. By expressing it, you can change a person’

It's one of the simplest things you can do. By expressing it, you can change a person's mood and perception of you in an instant. Who knew two words could be so powerful?

Sending a thank you note after an interview doesn't just showcase a candidate's manners -- it can also make or break their chances of landing a job. Nearly 15% of hiring managers say they would not hire someone who failed to send a Thank You letter or card after the interview. Thirty-two percent say they would still consider the candidate, but would think less of him or her, according to a recent survey at CareerBuilder.com

Although most hiring managers expect to receive a 'thank you' note, format preferences differ. Only 1 in 4 managers prefer to receive a 'thank you' note in e-mail form; 19% want the e-mail followed up with a hard copy; 21% want a hard copy note or letter only, and 23% prefer JUST a handwritten note, card or letter.

No matter which format you choose, it's critical to act quickly when sending a 'thank you' letter or note to your interviewer. Twenty-six percent of hiring managers expect to have the note in-hand two days after the interview, and 36% expect to have it within 3-5 days.

Here are some tips to make the most of your "thank you" letter:

Stick to three paragraphs. In the first paragraph, thank the interviewer for the opportunity. Use the second to sell yourself by reminding the hiring manager of your qualifications. In the third paragraph, reiterate your interest in the position.

Fill in the blanks. 'Thank you' notes are a great way to add key information you forgot in the interview, clarify any points or try to ease any reservations the interviewer might have expressed.

Proofread CAREFULLY. Double-check to make sure your note is free from typos and grammatical errors. Also make sure you spell the manager's name correctly. don't rely solely on your spell checker to catch everything, as many words such as "your" and you're" won't be caught by the spell checker, but may be incorrect grammatically.

Be specific. Don't send out a generic correspondence. Instead, tailor your note to the specific job and the relationship you have established with the hiring manager.

Quote of the Week: "The best way to look at it is that Warhammer is Batman." ~ Josh Drescher

Story of the Week: Oddly enough, the biggest story about WAR this week wasn't about WAR at all -- but instead, the blitz of World of Warcraft expansion info that was suddenly thrown all over the place. Many Warhammer fans are nervously chewing their nails at the shift in spotlight (and unrestrained speculation about the supposed fall head-to-head battle of the two titles), but Massively actually thinks WoW is a positive factor in the future success of WAR. In any case, a clash between these two titles looks to happen this fall, as Vivendi confirmed that Wrath is "anticipated to be released in the second half of 2008."

It is expected that 4.7 million new businesses will be created during the next 12 months most dream

It is expected that 4.7 million new businesses will be created during the next 12 months most dreaming of becoming the next Sir Alan Sugar, James Dyson or even Sir Richard Branson yet more than 90% will more than likely fail.

The Credit Crunch, poor cash-flow, profitability, lack of knowledge, lack of experience combined with the highest levels of stress that Entrepreneurs endure will in the main result in shattered dreams for theses courageous success driven Entrepreneurs.

Many Entrepreneurs who have failed would say, if I could do it again I would do it very differently, but just what exactly are the most costly mistakes a budding business Entrepreneur makes and if these mistakes were successes then how many of these businesses would have a much higher chance of success?

Many successful Entrepreneurs have at one time or another faced liquidation and even bankruptcy due to not having all the skills and knowledge required to be successful whilst high profile Entrepreneurs like Gerald Ratner have come through their challenges to make a full recovery. The major problem that we face in the UK is that bankruptcy and liquidation is frowned upon where as in the United States it does not carry the same stigma.

What if Entrepreneurs we not afraid to talk about the mistakes that they have made instead passed on this knowledge to other Entrepreneurs, then surely less mistakes would be made, more businesses would succeed and a higher percentage of Start Up Businesses would survive!

An Essex based company has created an Entrepreneur and Business Support website with “Prevention is better than Cure” thought process in mind and their idea just might catch on. The business idea was conceived by Bradley Chapman after he was forced into bankruptcy. He could not run his own business as a bankrupt instead gave the idea to a number of investors who subsequently created a board and a new business was formed.

We spoke with Bradley Earlier today and asked him what exactly is Million Impossible and how does he think it could help UK Entrepreneurs? Bradley said - “I went through a very challenging financial and personal time during 2006/2007 and had hit rock bottom. I have had many successes in business and have made some disastrous mistakes. I class myself as an Entrepreneur and we take risks to achieve our dreams, I believe that if Entrepreneurs stand together and talk about their failures as much as we love to talk about our successes then we could all learn from it.

Everybody talks about becoming a Millionaire and the name just came to me MILLION IMPOSSIBLE. I did not want the site to be the same as the usual corporate happy clappy business networks already in the market, instead I wanted to urge people to be honest and share their pains and challenges with each other so that the business became an Honest Network, which currently does not exist in the UK market. Million Impossible has been created for UK Business Underdogs and I have written a blog on the site which is called the Unknown Entrepreneur because so many Entrepreneurs are unknown because they just do not make it.

I have been honest with who I am and what I have been through. I will face criticism and even investigation due to my bankruptcy, but if the website changes the way that budding and experienced entrepreneurs help each other and together we can help more businesses succeed then we will have achieved hat we set out to do. All businesses you need a catalyst and I hope that my honesty will pave the way for more Entrepreneurs in making their journey that bit easier”.

The Business Underdog web site launched last November and is starting to make waves in the UK Networking arena and offers two levels of membership. You can register and use the site free or become a lifetime member with added benefits.

Members have started to talk honestly about their businesses respecting each others journey. The business offers everything from free advertising and memorable numbers to merchant services and hopes to capture the hearts and minds of the struggling UK Entrepreneur community by constantly delivering an enhanced value proposition to their members.

Direction Nantes. Restent ses oeuvres. Magiques.
